MC8

The MC8 has the highest load capacity of all the multicomponent single element type transducers at AMTI. This sensor provides six outputs with vertical capacities available in 10,000 lb, 20,000 lb, and 30,000 lb models (see Specifications Tables). The individual sensing element within the transducer features high stiffness, high sensitivity, and excellent repeatability and longevity.

The body of the MC8 is manufactured from an anodized aluminum shell which is secured between high strength 17-4 stainless steel plates on the top and bottom surfaces. The working surface of this instrument is 8 inches square, and the top and bottom plates are each equipped with 4 threaded holes for mounting. Conformal coating of the strain gages further ensures consistent and reliable performance.
