Force-Sensing Pitching Mound
AMTI’s Force Plate-Instrumented Pitching Mound provides measurements of 3D forces and moments under each foot, throughout an entire pitch, by embedding force plates in a custom fiberglass bullpen or mound. This information affords a whole new understanding of a pitcher’s technique and provides a tool for tuning optimal performance or guiding athletes through rehabilitation.
Optima BMS400600 3D Force Platform
The BMS400600 is AMTI’s most popular mountable multi-axis force plate. This versatile 40 by 60 cm plate can be used for a wide range of activities, including gait, balance, and sports applications. As part of our Optima Biomechanics Measurement Series (BMS), this platform offers superior accuracy over the competition combined with a high natural frequency in the most affordable package.
Tandem Force-Sensing Treadmill
The Tandem Instrumented Treadmill is AMTI’s most popular force-sensing treadmill, allowing for the measurement of bilateral forces during both walking and running. The innovative front-to-back split belt design eliminates the tendency for subjects to widen their stance and alter their gait, as research has shown can be the case with a side-by-side split belt treadmill.
