Join AMTI at the 2026 SWACSM Regional Meeting in Irvine, CA

AMTI is excited to once again take part in the Southwest Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine (SWACSM) Annual Meeting, taking place Friday, October 23 through Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Hilton Irvine/Orange County Airport in Irvine, California.

AMTI is proud to be a conference sponsor again this year, with an exhibit table conveniently located near the conference rooms. If you’re attending, stop by and say hello!

Bringing Together the Southwest Sports Science Community

SWACSM represents ACSM members across Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah, and its annual meeting brings together students, faculty members, researchers, clinicians, and other professionals working across sports medicine and exercise science.

That makes it an especially valuable event for exchanging ideas across disciplines. Research represented at SWACSM covers everything from basic and preclinical science to clinical research, exercise science, biomechanics, and human performance. The 2026 program offers plenty of opportunities to learn and connect, including general sessions, symposia, interactive workshops, poster presentations, and undergraduate and graduate student research competitions.

Stop By and Talk Force Measurement

For AMTI, regional meetings like SWACSM are a great opportunity to connect with the biomechanics and movement science communities in a smaller, more personal setting.

Stop by the AMTI exhibit table to talk with us about force plates, instrumented treadmills, gait and balance applications, sports performance measurement, or the needs of your own research lab. Whether you’re planning a new biomechanics facility, upgrading an existing system, developing a research project, or simply curious about what force measurement can add to your work, we’re always happy to talk.

We’re also especially excited to connect with the many students and early-career researchers who attend SWACSM. Today’s student projects can become tomorrow’s important discoveries, and access to accurate, reliable measurement technology can play an important role in turning good research questions into meaningful data.

See You in Irvine!

If you’re attending, keep an eye out for AMTI representative Shannon Neville at our exhibit table near the conference rooms. Stop by to introduce yourself, share a little about the work you’re doing, and learn more about how AMTI force measurement technology is supporting research, clinical applications, and human performance around the world.
