Join AMTI at ACSM 2026 in Salt Lake City
Every year, the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Annual Meeting brings together researchers, clinicians, educators, and performance professionals from across the biomechanics and sports science world. AMTI is excited to once again be part of this outstanding event, taking place Tuesday, May 26 through Friday, May 29, 2026, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
If you’re attending ACSM this year, be sure to stop by Booth #329 at the Salt Lake City Palace Convention Center. The AMTI team will be there throughout the week to talk about the latest advances in force plate technology and how researchers and clinicians are using AMTI systems in real-world applications every day.
Whether your focus is gait analysis, rehabilitation, sports performance, balance assessment, or human movement research, ACSM is always a great place to exchange ideas, see new technology, and connect with colleagues across the industry.

Event Details
- Date: Tuesday, May 26, 2026
- Time: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
This unique event blends biomechanics technology, sports performance, networking, and a little Utah adventure into one exciting afternoon.
The afternoon will begin with a visit to The Gait Lab-SLC, where attendees can see integrated markerless motion capture and instrumented treadmill technologies in action.
From there, participants can choose between two experiences:
- Thrill-Seekers: Head to Utah Olympic Park for activities like zip-lining, hiking, the alpine slide, and the famous summer bobsled experience.
- Tech Enthusiasts: Continue to TOSH-Park City for an inside look at how force plates, motion capture, and instrumented treadmills are used in elite rehabilitation and performance settings.
The afternoon wraps up with appetizers, cocktails, and entertainment at Utah Olympic Park before returning to Salt Lake City by 7:00 PM.
It should be a fun and memorable way to connect with others in the biomechanics community outside the conference hall.
See You in Salt Lake City!
ACSM is always an exciting week filled with new ideas, valuable conversations, and opportunities to explore the future of biomechanics and human performance research. AMTI is proud to continue supporting the researchers, clinicians, and performance professionals helping move the field forward.
