Use this calculator to preview the dynamic range and the bit resolution for various platforms and transducers. Select one of AMTI's amplifiers and then set the excitation voltage and amplifier gain in the list boxes below.

Note 1: The range is limited by the smaller of the platform capacity or the saturation of the conditioning electronics. This value represents the useful measurement range given the selected settings.

Note 2: The resolution is the highest resolution that can be achieved with the given A/D converter bit resolution. In general the actual resolution will be somewhat lower as a result of environmental (electrical and mechanical) noise.
