AMTI’s Ethernet-based data acquisition instruments provide continuous high speed data acquisition and PID motion control via a simple Ethernet interconnection.  Our data acquisition products include DigiAmp with a high-gain amplifier for strain gage amplification and signal conditioning and DigiVolt with a low-gain amplifier for analog signal sources such as potentiometers, LVDT’s and other high level signals.  AMTI’s DigiControl is a complete PID controller with a signal conditioning front end well suited for servo-hydraulic and servo-pneumatic control applications.

AMTI’s Ethernet enabled instruments are ideal for remote data acquisition and control providing up to 500 feet of separation (with out a repeater) between the instrument and the host PC used for data storage.  With readily available Ethernet physical layer options such as fiber optics, wireless and the internet, the remote possibilities become almost endless.

These are precision instruments which include a 16 bit 96 kHz A/D digitizing front end coupled with a DSP (digital signal processor) for signal conditioning and digital filter (or PID control loop) implementation.  These instruments are designed to provide the highest possible immunity to varying environmental conditions such as humidity and temperature changes.  All of the instruments have 4KV ESD input protection designed to protect the sensitive amplification and digitization circuitry from accidental static discharge.
