AMTI has
over 25 years of experience designing and manufacturing instrumentation and
machines for medical and industrial applications. AMTI has received numerous grants from the National
Science Foundation and the National Institute of Health to fund innovative
research in various areas of medical and industrial measurement
technology. In addition to our funded
research efforts AMTI’s relationships with the medical community have
led to many collaborative research and development efforts such as:
AMTI’s primary areas of development activity are in
biomechanical measurements, joint motion simulators and tribology machines. Specifically AMTI’s Instrument and
Mechanical Systems development group focuses on multiaxis motion control and
multiaxis force measurement machines, instruments, and equipment. AMTI’s development efforts are supported by a dedicated
mechanical engineering staff with expertise in tribology and long life
mechanical design as well as years of experience with multiaxis force
measurement technology.
Instrumentation design and development efforts are supported by a
staff of electronic and software engineers with years of experience
developing embedded control systems and real time acquisition and control
applications. AMTI is continually interested in working with our customers
to explore their needs for test machines, multiaxis transducers, custom force
platforms or specialty measurement and control instrumentation and
electronics. Please review our
products pages on this site and if our standard products do not satisfy your
needs please contact us and our engineers will be pleased to discuss your
needs with you. Please see our Corporate page for
a description of AMTI’s research and development facilities and
capabilities. |
